We can also arrange the inspection in order to obtain TR TS 010 and TR TS 012 Certificates. These certificates provides permission to operate your equipment at all industrial plants of the EAEU countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan), including the hazardous industrial facilities. Our company is eager to assist in issuing Technical Passports for cartridge-type filters as per Russian and other EAEU countries’ requirements.

Cartridge-type filters are narrow vertical cylinders by type of cartridges or candles. Such filters are produced from the coal mass, extruded kieselguhr, porous ceramic, etc. Such devices operate similarly to Nutsche filter, in which the filtered material is pressed from the outside through the filter membrane into element. The resulting precipitate remains outside the cartridge and is pushed by air or liquid supplied inside. This type of filters is mostly used as thickeners.
Cartridge-type filters are designed to filter suspension with low solids content (up to 5%) in order to lighten the filtered material. The precipitate is subjected to subsequent washing, suspension is thickened. Filtration is also possible using alluvial layer or adding specific substances to suspension filtered by means of such filters.
Structurally, the cartridge-type filter is a cylindrical base, which is arranged vertically. The cylinder is equipped with a hinged cover or of removable type. There is a grid or collector with sections in the inner space of the base, cartridges are installed (vertical filter elements).
The principle of this type of filter is simple. Suspension is supplied under pressure into the bottom of the base. The liquid phase passes through filter membrane and exits through internal cavities of cartridges. The solid phase settles on walls of cartridges. The precipitate is removed by water hammer, so that the precipitate enters the base filled with liquid, and then it is removed together with liquid.

This type of filters is also equipped with an automatic or semi-automatic filter operation control system.
The main components of cartridge-type filters are the pipe system wearing rings. Pipes are closed at the bottom and have longitudinal ribs and holes in walls. Rings are threaded on pipes and made of ceramic, glass or pressed diatomite, and have a porous structure. Cartridges of pipes and rings are installed in cells of the grid having internal parallel channels. The cartridge system is installed in the closed cylindrical base with a hinged cover.
Suspension is supplied under pressure not higher than 0.9 MPa in gaps between cartridges. Filtration and removal of the precipitate is carried out in the same manner as in plate filters.
The area of working surface of cartridge-type filters is up to 60 m². Porosity of the cartridge is approximately 40%, length - not more than 3 m, thickness of the precipitate is allowed at 10-15 mm.
Filters equipped with cloth membrane are used for thickening of suspension. Cartridge-type filter thickeners are the most commonly. Suspension is directed into the tank in such filters, where metal cartridges are installed having a perforated surface covered with a filter membrane. When the vacuum is created within the cartridge, the filtration occurs through these suspension cartridges. All cartridges are joined by distribution head by a conduit. This head is necessary to switch the system from vacuum to pressure, and also for blowing the precipitate which is accumulated on the surface of cloth. The precipitate is removed by means of spiral agitation through overflow pipe.
The cartridge-type filter thickener with a conical bottom and blades are widely used. Such devices have a filtering surface of 30 to 230 mm². In addition, thickeners are often used with not only vertical cartridges, but also as frame filter presses and disc vacuum filters.

Upon becoming the official distributer of fabric filters, our company ‘Intech GmbH’ LLC (ООО «Интех ГмбХ»), carries out the following: finds the buyers of your products on the market, conducts technical and commercial negotiations with the customers regarding the supplies of your equipment, concludes contracts. Should a bidding take place, we will collect and prepare all the documents required for the participation, conclude all the necessary contracts for the supply of your equipment, as well as register the goods (fabric filters) and conduct customs clearance procedures. We will also register a certificate of transaction (Passport of Deal) required for all foreign trade contracts in the foreign currency control department of the authorized Russian bank so that currency transaction could be effected. If required, our company will implement an equipment spacing project in order to integrate your equipment into the existing or newly built production plant.
