Pan filters. A brief overwiew

Pan filters have almost the same design as rotary filters. At that, radial walls of adjacent Nutsche filters of pan filters are common, thereby forming a continuous ring of filter compartments. The ring is based on a hollow disk with low sides. The disc is divided into chambers and rotates on the hollow shaft. The distribution head, to which all compartments are connected via channels in the hollow shaft, is located under the disk.

Suspension is supplied into Nutsche filters by rotating the disc, and after that the residue is treated repeatedly with washing liquid and it is air-blown. After the residue is loosened by compressed air, it is removed from the filter membrane by means of a knife.

Pan filters represent very solid structures. The diameter of the device is 1.3-4.2 m. Working surface area is 1-12 m². Large size, as well as difficulty in residue removing and side places cleaning represent the main disadvantages of this type of filters.

Vertical shaft and horizontal perforated disc, equipped with an external side, divided into sections (compartments) represent the main parts of the filter. All compartments are connected to the distribution head, located under the disc. Suspension for filtration is supplied to the fabric, covering disk. The residue, formed by filtered suspension is removed with a knife and then discharged into the screw conveyor or onto the conveyor belt. Filtration process ends after almost complete revolution of disc in the horizontal plane. This occurs during revolution of one section, which is connected to the distribution head sections. The filter operation occurs under vacuum conditions of 100 to 200 mm Hg. Such vacuum filters are most commonly used to dewater coarse heavy suspensions.

We will also register a certificate of transaction (Passport of Deal) required for all foreign trade contracts in the foreign currency control department of the authorized Russian bank so that currency transaction could be effected. If required, our company will implement an equipment spacing project in order to integrate your equipment into the existing or newly built production plant.
